2025 Documents
What's Changing & Why
CoServ Gas filed a request for an Interim Rate Adjustment to increase the customer charge used to calculate the customer’s monthly bill with the Railroad Commission of Texas on July 18, 2025.
The increase can be attributed to the increased overall capital investment since the last rate filing in July of 2023. From 2023 to 2025, we have seen inflationary pressure on costs related to the investment in capital infrastructure, including materials and labor costs.
However, our rates – and your bill – will still be lower than with other natural gas providers in North Texas.

Interim Gas Adjustment FAQ
How are gas customers notified of the Interim Gas Adjustment?
Official notice of the filing is included as an additional page in their billing statement generated in August. Bill messages are also included directing any customer with gas service to review the notice. The notice can also be found at CoServ.com/GasRates.
Pending approval, an additional bill message will be included with the bill generated in January 2026.
Why is the effective date on the official notice different than the actual effective date?
The Railroad Commission of Texas has specific noticing requirements including the effective date on the official notice. The date on the notice is the soonest the rate could go into effect, however CoServ Gas is deferring the effective date to January 1, 2026.
