Operation Roundup

Operation Roundup® is supported by CoServ Electric Members and CoServ Gas Customers who "round up" their monthly electric and gas bills to the nearest dollar to help our neighbors in need. The extra pennies go to the CoServ Charitable Foundation, which distributes every cent to worthy causes in CoServ's service territory. These organizations assist with:

  • Literacy development
  • Hot meals for your homebound elderly neighbors
  • Youth activity programs
  • Shelter for low-income, working families
  • Libraries
  • Emergency responders
  • Children's homes
  • Other not-for-profit organizations

The average Operation Roundup participant contributes pennies each month and that adds up to about $6 per year. It may not sound like much, but in 2024, Operation Roundup grants distributed to nonprofits throughout our service territory totaled more than $1.7 million. That includes supporting groups like Frisco Family Services, Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County, Lovepacs and the Valley View Volunteer Fire Department as well as education foundations for all 23 school district that we serve.

Not sure whether you are a participant? Check your most recent CoServ bill. You should see a separate "Operation Roundup" line item under the Account Summary section. You may choose to opt-out by filling out this form.
