CoServ STEM Stations
CoServ's STEM presentations are hands-on activities that help students take their first steps into their future careers.
Science, technology, engineering and math, collectively known as STEM, are critical for students today to prepare for the careers of tomorrow. CoServ knows this all too well as we employ specialists who use these skills daily!
These STEM activities can help students take their first steps into their future careers. The activities target different age groups and STEM-related topics, including critical thinking, design and reasoning.

Gravity Maze
Gravity Maze STEM Station
In the Gravity Maze Presentation, students use gravity to guide a marble through a maze to reach a target destination. Gravity Maze introduces concepts such as potential energy, pathways, conductors, and open and closed circuits. Students work in groups of 2 -4, this activity can accommodate up to 30 students at a time.
- STEM skills: Logic, reasoning, and problem-solving
- Appropriate Age: 3rd – 5th grade
- Duration: 45-60 min
- Max Class size: up to 30 students per presentation
- TEKS – Investigations, Problem Solving, Identifying Patterns, Making Predictions, Cause & Effect
- 3rd grade: Sci 3.1A-G/3.5A-D;
- 4th grade: Sci 4.1A-G/4.5A-D;
- 5th grade: Sci 5.1A-G/5.5A-D
