CoServ STEM Stations - Coming Soon!

In Fall 2025, CoServ will be adding new interactive STEM presentations. Click on the titles below to learn more about each station.

Science, technology, engineering and math, collectively known as STEM, are critical for students today to prepare for the careers of tomorrow. CoServ knows this all too well as we employ specialists who use these skills daily!

These STEM activities can help students take their first steps into their future careers. The activities target different age groups and STEM-related topics, including critical thinking, design and reasoning.

Request one of these presentations for the 2025–2026 school year and one of your students could find a STEM career at CoServ in the future!

Indi Cars STEM Station

  • STEM skills: Critical thinking, basic beginner programming
  • Appropriate age: Can be adapted to any grade K–6.
  • What is it: Indi Cars change direction, speed up or slow down based on the color of the block they drive over. So, getting the Indi Car from point A to B requires students to put the correct colors on the path so the car is “programmed” correctly.
  • How many students: Students can work in groups of 2 to 4
  • Where can you do it: Indi Car activities can be done in a classroom, library, gym or any indoor space with open floors.
  • How long: Indi Cars can be done for up to 30 minutes at a time. It can also be combined with other activities for STEM Stations, up to 15 to 20 minutes per station.

Magnetic Builders STEM Station

  • STEM skills: Engineering, magnetics and building 3 dimensional shapes
  • Appropriate age: Best suited for kindergarten through second grade but can be adjusted for other elementary grade levels.
  • What is it: Students are guided through increasingly rigorous challenges to manipulate 2D shapes into 3D creations.
  • How many students: Each student works individually with their own set of tiles. It can be done with up to 12 students at a time.
  • Where can you do it: A flat surface like a table or desk.
  • How long: Standalone lessons last 45 to 60 minutes. It can also be combined with other activities for STEM Stations, up to 15 to 20 minutes per station.

Gravity Maze STEM Station

  • STEM skills: Logic, reasoning and problem-solving
  • Appropriate age: Best suited for third – sixth grade.
  • What is it: Students will use gravity to push a marble through a maze to reach the desired destination. Gravity Maze introduces students to potential energy, pathways, conductors and open and closed circuits.
  • How many students: Students can work in groups of up to 2-4. Gravity Maze can be done for up to 30 students at a time.
  • Where can you do it: A flat surface like a table or desk.
  • How long: Standalone lessons last 45 to 60 minutes. It can also be combined with other activities for STEM Stations, up to 15 to 20 minutes per station.

CoDrone STEM Station

  • STEM skills: Programming, logic and reasoning
  • Appropriate age: Fifth–sixth grade.
  • What is it: Students use block programming to program a drone for certain tasks. Students with more programming experience can use Python to write more advanced scripts for the drone.
  • How many students: Students will need access to a Chromebook or computer to code. Split into groups of 2 to 4. Up to 30 students at a time can do the activity.
  • Where can you do it: Large open space such as a gym, library or larger classroom.
  • How long: Standalone lessons last 45 to 60 minutes. It can also be combined with other activities for STEM Stations, up to 15 to 20 minutes per station.
