When Robert and Joronda Crow were building their forever home in 1990, one of the biggest decisions was their electric provider.

“We had a choice of going with two different electric companies and we chose CoServ. We’re glad we did,” Robert said.

The Krum residents always paid on time, attended Annual Meetings and had positive interactions with CoServ Employees.

But the best was yet to come when they attended Sanger Sellabration last October, primarily for the classic car show. While there, they stopped by the CoServ Corral where Robert entered for the bill credit, which automatically enters you for the grand prize, a Year of Free Electricity!

On Dec. 16, CoServ President and CEO Donnie Clary drew Robert’s name as the grand prize winner out of thousands of names. A few days later, CoServ Employees showed up at the Crow home to celebrate them as the 2025 winner of the Year of Free Electricity.

“It’s probably the biggest bill we pay," Mr. Crow said. "I’m very surprised to find out that I won." Despite having free power for 2025, Joronda is quick to point out that her husband will still closely monitor the thermostat. Robert didn’t deny it.
