CoServ has partnered with Tesla to bring you effortless savings all year long with a $30 bill credit each month you participate. You can earn up to $360 annually for allowing CoServ to manage your Tesla Battery during peak demand times when we call an event. Let us help you make your investment work for you.
How does it work?
VERIFY & ENROLL
Verify your battery is eligible using the "Who's eligible" list below. Then, use your Tesla app to enroll. For step-by-step instructions, click here.
CHARGE
Your battery operation will remain the same, keeping reserve power stored until it's needed. CoServ will handle calling events as needed, using some of your reserve power to help keep grid costs down and reserve steady.
EARN
Sit back and enjoy monthly bill credits, we'll do the rest. You can earn up to $360 a year.
How to Enroll
- Open the Tesla app and select the Virtual Power Plant section on the Powerwall home screen.
- Ensure that you have your CoServ bill with you so you can retrieve your account information.
- Enter your information so that CoServ can verify you as a current customer, including name, account number as stated on your CoServ utility bill, email, and phone number.
- Review the program information and select 'Agree and Apply.'
Your application will be reviewed by CoServ. You will be notified once it has been approved through the Tesla app.
Program Details
How does the PeakTime Perks: Tesla Battery Program work?
- This incentive program rewards members with a monthly bill credit of $30 or $360 a year for allowing CoServ to utilize stored energy on their Tesla batteries to reduce energy use and lower grid costs.
- For enrolled Members, CoServ will call events, up to 125 throughout the year, to utilize stored energy on their Tesla battery to help reduce energy use and lower grid costs. Note: We will always leave 20% as a backup reserve on each battery.
- Events can last 2 hours and run annually from January 1 through December 31.

- Members in single-family homes who rent or own
- Members with an eligible Tesla Battery:
- Powerwall +
- Powerwall 2
- Powerwall 3
How to Unenroll
Please email contact@coserv.com to unenroll from PeakTime Perks: Tesla Battery Program. Your request will be processed within 3–5 business days.

- Tesla Batteries can be purchased through Tesla and authorized retailers.
- CoServ does not provide or sell Tesla Batteries and we do not offer rebates.
- At this time, only supported Tesla Batteries are eligible for the CoServ PeakTime Perks Program.
