What do I do if I believe a Solar Company is being deceptive?

The solar installation industry has grown rapidly over the past decade and with that, have come many high-pressure sales tactics and clever solar scams. To help combat this, CoServ always recommends that our Members do their own research and get several quotes from various companies before committing to any contract.

However, if you feel that a company is misrepresenting itself or its products the DOE recommends that you can contact the Federal Trade Commission to report fraud, scams, and bad business practices. You also have options at the state level as well. The consumer protection offices may also be able to help too.
